Privacy Policy
In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, this Privacy Policy is established and disclosed to protect the personal information of data subjects and to ensure the prompt and smooth handling of related complaints.
Article 1 (Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information)
We collect and process personal information for the following purposes. Collected personal information will not be used for purposes other than those specified below. If the purpose of use changes, we will take necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
1. Application, modification, and cancellation confirmation for conference participation
2. Contract guidance and exhibition booth allocation
3. Participant registration confirmation and relevant guidance
4. Guidance on exhibition item display/removal and related safety regulations
5. Notifications related to conference participation
6. Marketing and advertising
o To provide new or customized services
o To provide promotional and event information and participation opportunities
o To offer demographic-based services and advertisements
o For product or service promotions or sales solicitations, contact may be made using the collected personal information
7. Collected Information and Status
o Items: Nationality, company/organization name, business registration number, representative's name, business type, business category, email, login ID, password, name, address, phone number, mobile number, fax number
o Collection Methods: Online application via the homepage, paper forms, on/offline events
o Legal Basis: Consent to this Privacy Policy upon registration

Article 2 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)
• Personal information is retained and used within the period agreed upon by the data subject or as required by applicable law.
• Retention periods by purpose:
1. Website Membership Management: Until membership withdrawal
o However, if investigations or legal issues are ongoing, information will be retained until those matters conclude.
2. Provision of Goods or Services: Until goods/services have been fully delivered and payment settled
o Additionally retained per applicable law:
 Records on advertising/display: 6 months
 Records on contract, withdrawal, payment, and supply: 5 years
 Records on consumer complaints/dispute handling: 3 years

Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
• Personal information will only be used within the scope defined in Article 1 and may be provided to third parties only when there is consent from the data subject or when permitted under Article 17 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
• Third-party recipients and purposes:
• Recipients: Institutions with marketing agreements, exhibition consultation operators, newsletter distribution agencies, satisfaction survey agencies
• Purpose: Conference/convention service provision, joint events, marketing, advertisements
• Provided Data: Nationality, company/organization name, business type, business category, email, name, address, phone number, mobile number, fax number
Article 4 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing)
1. Personal information processing may be outsourced to ensure smooth operations.
o Contractor: Sumarketing Communications
o Outsourced Work: Website management (Republic of Korea)
o Contract Period: Until termination of the outsourcing agreement
2. Outsourcing contracts include provisions to prohibit processing beyond the scope of services, mandate technical/managerial protection measures, prohibit subcontracting, and clarify liability (per Article 25 of the Personal Information Protection Act).
3. Any changes to contractors or outsourced work will be promptly disclosed via this Privacy Policy.

Article 5 (Rights and Responsibilities of Data Subjects and Exercise Thereof)
• Data subjects may exercise the following rights at any time:
• Request access to personal information
• Request correction of errors
• Request deletion
• Request suspension of processing
• These rights may be exercised via written request, phone, email, or fax. The company will take prompt action.
• If correction or deletion is requested, the information will not be used or provided until the request is resolved.
• A legal representative or authorized agent may exercise these rights on behalf of the data subject, provided a power of attorney (Form No. 11 of the Enforcement Rules of the Personal Information Protection Act) is submitted.
• Data subjects must not infringe upon the privacy of others or violate applicable laws in the process of exercising these rights.

Article 6 (Personal Information Items Processed)
We process the following personal information items:
1. Membership Registration
o Required: Nationality, company/organization name, business registration number, representative name, business type, email, login ID, password, name, address, phone number, mobile number
o Optional: Business category, fax number
2. Service Provision
o Same as above
3. Automatically Collected Items
o IP address, cookies, MAC address, usage records, visit records, misconduct records
Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information)
1. Personal information is destroyed without delay when the retention period expires or the purpose of processing is fulfilled.
2. If retention is required by law after the consent period ends, the data will be moved to a separate database or stored separately.
3. Destruction procedures:
o Electronically stored information: Deleted irretrievably using database tools
o Paper documents: Shredded or incinerated
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Security of Personal Information)
We implement the following safeguards:
1. Administrative Measures: Internal management plans, regular employee training
2. Technical Measures: Access control, encryption, installation of security programs
3. Physical Measures: Access control to server rooms and storage facilities
Article 9 (Cookies and Related Technologies)
1. We may use cookies to provide customized services.
2. Cookies are small text files stored on the user's computer by the web server.
o Purpose: Analyze service usage patterns, optimize service and advertising
o Control: Cookies can be disabled via browser settings (Tools > Internet Options > Privacy)
